My name is Maris Zinbergs.
I have worked as a software developer for over 14 years. For many years, I worked as Delphi/Pascal developer. After that, came Ruby on Rails (v3) for multiple projects.
Right now, for work and personal projects, I am using Scala for backend and JS SPAs for frontend.
More specifically, for backend, we use our in-house build wrapper for Akka HTTP - wabase. It’s basic, but it gets us up & running quickly for new projects.
For frontend, we use VueJS (v2), React and Svelte.
My favourite of the 3 - VueJS, due to similarity with AngularJS, that we used for most of our projects, once we switched to developing SPAs.
Right now, working mostly on projects centered around GIS.
